Development of a Secure Software Development Lifecycle & Cybersecurity Processes to design secure APIs

Challenge:

An API developer portal was developed, and a strategy for holistic security processes needed to be developed.

Approach:
  • Secure software development lifecycle and cybersecurity processes were developed and implemented.
  • Process descriptions for Vulnerability and Incident Management were created.
  • A methodology for conducting a Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) of selected APIs was developed and implemented.
  • Risk-based controls and a security coding guideline were derived.

  • The results will also benchmark against other industries and create an action-based roadmap detailing how the customer can achieve its long-term goals.

Highly formalized TARA for Medical Device
